Facebook As a Supporting Tool for Enhancing Social Interaction Skills in A Physics Teaching Subject

In 21st century, a lot of importance has been given to information and communication technology(ICTs). Integrating technological tools into pedagogical world gained importanceeverywhere. During Covid-19 situation, various online platforms are being used teach the physicssubject in schools. But it seen that these don’t help inculcate social interaction skillsamong students. Social skills comprised skills, collaborative criticalthinking problem solving etc. This paper highlights utilization ICTs mediaplatform such as Facebook helps develop among Physics Thispaper examines group better alternative place LMS. Descriptive survey design wasadopted for study. The population consisted 100 secondary school students studying subject.A sample was sub-divided two groups- (50 students) LMS students).A structured questionnaires tagged Influence on Interaction Skills Questionnaire andInfluence were collect data from therespondents. Mean standard deviation analyse collected order test thehypotheses. findings revealed usage had significantly positive influence socialinteraction compared It concludedthat when effectively helped improve students.Social media like can be present e-modules related subject course inthe sequence provide opportunities students’ answering real time situation. Therefore, thispaper emphasis developing physics through collaboration ofvarious ICT platforms.
